Research
21 Artists is working as one the lead researcher for 2 action research projects for Powerful Partnerships, A New Direction programme for Cultural Education Partnerships (CEPs). The Programme is intended to support collaborative inquiry and bring about changes in the partnerships themselves and in their communities. Through collaborations with these partnerships, the aim is to build sustainability and approaches to monitoring, evaluation and systems-thinking.

ZU-UK was recently awarded funding from ACE to run another iteration of their Radio Ghost experience, an audio driven, walking game for 3 players in a shopping mall. We are leading on the evaluation which assesses impact on audiences but also the organisations and partners involved. Find out more about the project here.

World Heart Beat is a music academic in Southwest London offering bespoke support and access to a diverse range of music to young people across London and the local area. 21 Artists is in the process of developing a Theory of Change and robust social impact evaluation framework so they can better understand the impact of their work on young people and the community.

The Agency is a creative entrepreneurship programme for young people 15-25 in underserved areas of the UK, led by Battersea Arts Centre, People's Palace Projects and Contact. We lead on designing a robust social impact approach to measuring change in the lives of young people who take part, organisations and the community. Currently re-designing their Theory of Change.

Sounds Like Chaos is embarking on an exciting new role leading the construction of a new building and a programme of activity around climate change in Southeast London as part of the Lewisham borough of Culture. 21 Artists will evaluate the impact of this work on the young people involved, the organisations and the community.
Research
Funded by King's College London, Kunlaboro brings together artists and arts leaders from Morocco, Chile and Uganda to better understand the impact of Covid on the arts sector in the Global South. For this research, there was a specific focus on music and visual arts sectors. Publication projected for October 2021.
